I love these two! It has been such a joy getting to know them, from photographing their Engagement Session (see HERE) to spending their wedding day together.
Their wedding was so full of love and good times. You could tell they are surrounded by such wonderful family and friends. Everyone welcomed me with open arms and huge smiles. They all just want to celebrate the love of Becky and John.
The details from their wedding were so perfect that I can still remember like it was yesterday! I loved all the navy blues and beautiful greys with hints of pink throughout. Gorgeous peonies brought so much life to Becky’s bouquet. The salted caramel cupcakes from Cupcake Couture were to die for! This was a wedding to delight all your senses.
Congratulations to Becky and John! They both put out so much love and kindness to everyone that I wish them all the love and happiness in their own life. Cheers!
For the Unity part of their ceremony, Becky and John chose to write letters to one another and lock them in a box with a bottle of wine. On their anniversary, they will open the box, read the letters to each other and share the bottle of wine. They will then replace them with new letters and a new bottle, a perfect way to celebrate each anniversary.
Celebrate!
At one point in the night, all the guests gather round in a huge circle, surrounding a smaller circle of Becky, John and their immediate family. They all sway back and forth, laugh and sing “Piano Man” by Billy Joel. It’s really quiet magical and neat to see. I was smiling the whole time. After the song, they break out into some sweet dance moves to the tune of “Car Wash” by Rose Royce. Even now when I look at these photos I start singing, “Working at the car wash, yeah!”
