The traveling continues! This past week, I had the wonderful opportunity to fly to Las Vegas and attend WPPI for my second year. Photography conferences make my heart so happy and this is the biggest and craziest one of them all! Last year, I spent a ton of time attending classes and soaking up as much as possible. My goal for this year was to settle down a little, plan a bit less, and just take in all the amazing opportunities around me. This led to a gorgeous shoot in the desert, an incredible “Fireside Chat,” speaking at a few booths at the Expo, and attending some of the best parties and clubs in Vegas! Sometimes just letting go a bit can open the door to some awesome, life-changing things!

One element was the same from attending both years, I met some AMAZING people! Seriously, spending time with these sweet and kind photographers lifts my spirit. These men and women inspire me beyond words. When I listen to their stories, it makes me realize the world is a small yet, incredible place. I feel so lucky that I had the chance to make so many new friends and I hope I can see them all again soon!

The Rising Tide Society / HoneyBook / Shoot & Share Fireside Chat was incredible! So many amazing creatives gathered together to discuss how we can reach out into our communities and give back. It’s all about investing in others!
