Attitude of Gratitude
We hear this fun little saying a lot. It’s a great little reminder when we are feeling down. It’s what my mom would say to me every time she caught me complaining about something silly. But do we really know what it’s all about? Do we truly take it in and live it?
In our ever-changing lives, it’s easy to get discouraged, stressed, and frustrated. Hustle becomes our norm and there isn’t room for anything else. When we feel like life has us on the ropes our gut reaction is to complain and over-analazye on how “bad” we think we have it. It’s human nature. But what if after that initial reaction to complain, we took a step back and realized how truly wonderful our life is. What if we could take any situation and find the good in it? Think about how happy and fulfilling our lives would be!
For today’s Tell-All Tuesday, I’m launching into a 5-part series that is so special to me. Over the next month, we’ll dive into this “Attitude of Gratitude” and how I’m going to use it to help you all find things to be grateful for in your life. I practice AofG every single day and it’s helped me to find joy, learning, and guidance in any situation. From the big things I’ve experienced like losing a loved one or having to start my life over, to everyday inconveniences like feeling motivated to work-out or getting stuck in slow-moving traffic – AofG can help you love your life no matter where you’re at in it.
You might be thinking, “well that’s great for you, Shaunae but you don’t know my situation.” You’re right, I might not but I promise you, you can find something to be thankful for in ANY SITUATION. Attitude is a choice and gratitude is celebrating all the GOOD that’s already in your life.
During this series, I’ll help you:
• identify things to be grateful for when you are feeling stressed
• create positive affirmations to get you through the day
• help you cultivate thankfulness in your daily life
• show you the benefits of living more grateful
• give you the tools to help others find grace and gratefulness too
Will you join me? Will you start saying, “yes!” to living more joyous lives full of thankfulness?
Follow along on this adventure and watch your life start to change for the better!
