Savannah and JJ met while they were both working at the Green Bay Press-Gazette back in 2015. With their desks so close to each other, they became friends and soon that friendship turned into something more. Not long after they started dating and fell in love!
JJ proposed on the balcony at Thornberry Creek Country Club over looking the golf course. The two met for their usual Friday night perch and drinks special. But when Savannah arrived, JJ was nowhere to be found. Savannah says, “I arrived but I didn’t see him but his youngest sister was there. She sat down with me with a glass of wine and handed me a newspaper. I thought ‘I look at the newspaper everyday, why is she making me look at another one?’ But this wasn’t the Green Bay Press Gazette, it was the Zoch Times with a headline article ‘From the Ground Up’ (our favorite song) and a letter to me from JJ. I then realized what was about to happen, as the tears started to roll down my cheeks I walked out onto the patio (not even fully reading the whole article) and JJ was on the patio over looking the golf course down on one knee!”
We celebrated their love with the most beautiful Engagement Session! It felt like pure magic! The golden light of the sun setting in the distance and how every piece of the field swayed in the breeze made it feel like we had stepped into a special location that was just for us and no one else. Just Savannah and JJ – together, in love, and soon to be married. I’m so happy for these two, they are the sweetest and they deserve all the happiness in the world!
Seriously, isn’t Savannah absolutely GORGEOUS?! She could be a model!
I’m absolutely OBSESSED with Savannah’s Free People floral embroidered dress!
