If I’m being honest, I was never a fan of Thanksgiving. When I was young, Thanksgiving just felt like one big shuffle from one grandparents’ house to another’s. We’d be placed at the kid’s table and we never really understood what the big deal was. It wasn’t until I became an adult that I truly grew to love this holiday. In our everyday life, we should be giving thanks for the blessings we have but we don’t always do that. Thanksgiving is our reminder to take the time and speak into what we are grateful for while we are with our loved ones.
So today, in honor of Thanksgiving, I’m celebrating what I’m grateful for right in this moment:
– My family and friends: They have supported and loved me through everything!
– My home: A safe place to call my own and a beautiful gathering space for my loved ones.
– Alexander and Clementine: Seriously, I love those two sweet cats!
– My health: My body is strong, healthy, and whole. I can breathe with ease and I’m so thankful for that!
– Coffee: My favorite beverage, I’m so happy we live in a world that has coffee.
– Clients and Vendors: I could NOT do this job if it wasn’t for all the amazing clients who believe in me and the vendors who have helped me!
– The Rising Tide Society: I’m so proud of our local group and so thankful for the national group. I have made lifelong friends because of it!
– Nature: I love being outside and seeing the beauty all around us! The sun shining on my face is my favorite thing.
– Christmas: It’s right around the corner and it’s another chance to celebrate with family.
– So much more!: I could go on and on! Thankfully, I keep a gratitude journal to document everything daily.
Happy Thanksgiving friends! I hope your day is full of many blessings and delicious food!
You can share what you’re thankful for too!
