Last week, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit one of my favorite cities again, Charleston. The brightly colored buildings, the delicious food, the beautiful churches, and all the history just makes me fall in love with this charming city all over again! I adore traveling alone. It’s fun to just wake up and explore, not knowing where you are going and what your plans are, just snapping photos with your iPhone as you go. You just let the city guide you.
Not only did I get to explore historic Charleston but I also spent time in Folly Beach. A group of incredible creatives and entrepreneurs gathered for a weekend retreat full of learning, laughing, and fun. It was a privilege to speak at this retreat and share my knowledge with all the awesome attendees! They are the reason I keep doing what I’m doing. They are the reason I got SO much out of this weekend. I loved helping them and I can’t wait to continue to cheer them on and watch their businesses grow!
What I loved most about this trip were the people. We bonded over mimosas, walks on the beach, and late night chats snuggled together in the living room. I made lifelong friendships that I definitely didn’t expect to make but I’m SO happy I did. For today’s Fresh Brewed Friday, I’m sharing my behind-the-scenes adventures from this unforgettable trip!
Here’s to you, Charleston! Every time I leave, you always pull me back in. Until next time!
Favorite little coffee shop, Black Tap Coffee!
Can we get a pineapple fountain in Green Bay, please?
The food for our weekend was professionally made for us by Elizabeth & Shannon! They did a fabulous job and I’m still craving their delicious meals!
They had the cutest pink flamingo lights outside. They were definitely my favorite.
The amazing CeCe Designs taught us how to make floral crowns! Still wish I could have brought mine on the plane.
I loved speaking about one of my favorite subjects, blogging! I also enjoyed listening to our other speakers like Kay + Bee Photo, Christy Nicole Photography, and many more!
Thanks for a whirlwind of a week, ladies! This is definitely a trip I’ll never forget!
What a great recap, Shaunae! Your work is stunning! It was so nice to meet you and learn from you at the retreat! Can’t wait to work together!
