Ever since she was a little girl, Holly dreamed of getting married. Her and her sister would practice walking down the aisle as their mom played the organ at Bethany Lutheran Church in Ephraim when they were kids. They would giggle and smile as they walked, pretending to be future brides. Little did they know that years later, Holly would walk down that same aisle at that church as a real bride and have her groom, Beau, waiting for her at the end.
Holly and Beau met while they were both studying Art at UWGB. They were working on a scholarship contest together and spent all night just hanging art and talking. They felt an instant connection and soon started dating. From their very first date, they both knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Not too long after, Beau proposed in that same classroom they had spent all night talking in. They held each other and slow danced even though there was no music, happy as can be.
The two were married this past June on a Wednesday, the first day of Summer. They chose the longest day of the year because they wanted to celebrate every ounce of light and love possible. Back in Door County, where Holly and her family are from, they created the most magical wedding day. Most of the decorations and work that went into the wedding, Holly, Beau, and their family did themselves. Including Holly and Beau staying up until sunrise the night before their wedding to make sure everything was perfect! It was!! Every single piece of it!
Congratulations Holly and Beau! Here’s to more art, more light, and lots of love!
I love Beau’s wooden ring! So cool!
Holly was such a relaxed and awesome bride. She actually did everyone’s hair for the wedding, as well as, her own!

Ahhh! That look when he sees her for the first time!
