While out to lunch with her mom at White Dog Black Cat Cafe, Lindsey noticed their server, Josh. She thought he was cute and nice and with a little encouragement from her mom, decided to give him her number. From there, the two started dating – cooking dinner together, taking trips to Chicago, and just enjoying each other’s company. Who knew that going out to brunch could lead you to your future husband?! I just adore that you can find love anywhere!

Lindsey and Josh’s love is deep and meaningful on so many levels. They balance each other out in the best possible way and after dating for a few years, Josh proposed! On their first vacation together to Puerto Rico, Josh looked for the perfect time to ask Lindsey to be his wife. But every time he tried, something came up. First, there were too many people around, then he tried on the beach but the sand was so hot they could not stay long. Finally, on their last night, they went for a walk on the beach. Moonlight beaming down across everything, the waves crashing along the shore, Josh knew this was the right time. He turned to Lindsey and said, “I’ve been trying to find a way to do this all day. Lindsey, will you marry me?” Lindsey smiled and laughed and gave Josh a big kiss. He said, “Is that a yes?” with which she replied, “Of course!”

Happily engaged and back in Wisconsin, they are now busy planning a beautiful wedding for next Summer. Thankfully, we had a chance between our crazy schedules for an awesome Engagement Session this Fall! Since Downtown Green Bay is where they met and spend most of their time, we decided to embrace that area for their photo shoot. The mix of the orange and yellow leaves with Lindsey’s stunning emerald dress looked incredible! I am so happy I had the chance to spend time with this awesome couple and I cannot wait for their wedding next year!

Their adorable little dogs just had to make a guest appearance! Aww!
