Alyssa and Tim met in high school when Tim asked Alyssa to the prom. Of course, she said yes. The two had so much fun together, that they started dating (Tim actually asked her out at prom) and they have been inseparable ever since. They have so many fond memories of their seven year relationship together. To them, it was the little things that mattered most. The long drives where they would talk for hours, the movie marathons and the Sunday night dinners; all hold a special place in their hearts. Little did they know that a date to prom would turn into the beginning of a lifetime together.

These two both knew early on in their relationship that they wanted to spend forever with one another. It wasn’t until last November though, that Tim proposed. Alyssa remembers it well, “Tim is really into hunting and I always try to go with him as much as I can. On November 1st, he asked if I wanted to spend that Sunday in the tree stand with him and I said yes. When we got to the stand he had me climb the ladder first and when I reached the top he had our first picture we ever took together (our prom picture.) Shocked, I looked down and he told me to come back down. Frozen on the ladder for what felt like forever, I finally climbed back down and he got on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him! He even set up his trail camera to capture the moment. Everything was perfect and I smile every time I think about that day.”

To celebrate their love and their engagement, we planned a wonderful Engagement Session in Door County. We met at sunrise (that means 5:00 am, people!!) at Whitefish Dunes to watch the sun rise and walk along the beach. I love that Alyssa and Tim were so willing to get up early and explore with me. I absolutely adore these two and I’m swooning over the images we made! The moon even made a guest appearance in some! I cannot wait for their wedding next May!
