I’m thrilled to share Jayme and Dustin’s Black Sheep wedding! These two first met when they were in high school working at Papa Murphy’s. Jayme actually had a crush on Dustin but didn’t pursue a relationship right away. She did make a bet with her friend that she would date him and a few years later, she got that date! While dating, they were hiking at Fonferek and shared their first kiss. They both knew they had found “the one” at that point. Dustin even said, “I think that was our last first kiss.”
Dustin proposed in Door County. Jayme shares their story, “I thought we were just hiking, but he brought me to Portage Park where we had never been before. We went over to a little beach with no one else around. He LOVES history and told me that it was a historic beach. I was prepared for a history lesson, but instead he said that it was historic because one day we would bring our kids there and tell them that this was the spot where he proposed. Then he pulled the ring out of his backpack and proposed!”
Jayme and Dustin were married this July and it was an honor to photograph their special day. I met Jayme years ago through Pure Barre, she’s an amazing instructor and teaches an awesome class. When she’s not teaching at Pure Barre, she’s teaching in a classroom. She is organized by nature and planned her own wedding perfectly! Every detail was thoughtful and sweet. My favorite part was when Jayme and Dustin came into their reception in aprons, throwing pizza dough – an ode to when they first met at Papa Murphys! How fun!
Congratulations Jayme and Dustin! Wishing you lots of love and joy in your future!
Pure Barre Green Bay friends for life! It an honor every time I get to photograph a PBGB wedding!
Thanks to all the amazing wedding vendors that helped make Jayme & Dustin’s big day wonderful!
