While in Charleston, I photographed three wonderful couples who are extremely talented photographers and RTS leaders. I loved photographing along Rainbow Row and I wish I could shoot around those brightly colored buildings all the time!
I actually SPOKE at our RTS Leaders Retreat. I discussed our #GBTuesdays group and talked about how much fun we have and how each leader can make their groups fun too. Our meetups, just like life, should be treated like a party! I’m so happy I could share so much with everyone.
I FINALLY met Amy and Jordan Demos and I must say, I’m still giddy about it. I have followed their work for awhile and they have been such great influences for me and my business. I’m extremely grateful for all they have done for photographers. They are seriously SO nice and I hope I get to see them again soon.
After a wonderful week of traveling and exploring, I was happy to return home. There’s nothing like waking up in your own bed, in your own home, surrounded by your loved ones (or in my case, my cats.)
New Favorite: Charleston. I fell absolutely, head-over-heels in love with this beautiful city. Their great food, rich history, stunning architecture, and brightly colored buildings had me in awe the entire time I was there. I wish I could go back right now! I’m still craving more sweet tea, barbecue, seafood, and grits!
My new abstract painting I made during the retreat! With the helpful guidance from the fabulous Megan of Art by Megan, a dozen leaders created little ocean scenes. My piece is proudly sitting on my mantle until I find the perfect place for it.
Thankful: The AMAZING Rising Tide leaders. Everyone I met this past week was so genuinely kind and sweet and I’m beyond thankful I met them. They seriously inspire me to be the best possible leader and person I can be. I made many new friends and it’s my goal to visit each and every one of them in the near future!
