My weekly “coffee date” with you all!
Happenings: The first weekend in August turned out to be one of the hottest weekends of the entire year! Record breaking temperatures in the 90s! My couples did a great job though despite the heat!
Photographed another double header this weekend! First, Abby and Josh’s Friday wedding in Green Bay then Emily and Matthew’s wedding Saturday in Madison. I had so much fun at both weddings!
Explored Bazaar After Dark in Appleton on Wednesday! Such an awesome display of vendors, food, drinks, and entertainment. My favorite part was the live music! Couldn’t help but dance a little…okay, a lot.
Watched the Packers win big on both Sunday and Thursday! Thursday night, I was lucky enough to attend the game with my dad. It didn’t matter that we got rained on then had to evacuate for a little bit because of lightning, we still had a great time!
New Favorite: Halloween decorations! Of course, this is not a new favorite. Halloween is my second favorite holiday (so happy October is next week!) When it finally cooled off on Wednesday, I knew it was time to break out the decorations! My Colonial home is now ready for Fall!
My “Green & Gold” shirt from The Busy Bee Creations! It’s the perfect piece to wear to cheer on the Green & Gold!
Thankful: This week, I’m thankful for the Americans who have been sharing their thoughts and trying to unite us as a nation, even when it hasn’t been easy or pleasant. As a country, I think we are facing times of division and it’s beautiful to see people trying to bring us together out of love and respect. Empathy is one of the things we need now more than ever. I cannot always know what a person is going through based on my own experiences, but I always hope that I am open enough to empathize. And of course, I truly believe “what the world needs now, is love, sweet love.”
