Abby and Josh met years ago at a high school party. But what they thought was just a one-time interaction, turned into a lifelong journey together. They started dating and now the two are engaged! Josh proposed this past October at their favorite spot, their cabin. He laid out rose petals along the trail and asked Abby to meet him in the woods. When she made it to the end of the rose petal path, Josh was waiting for her, to ask her to spend the rest of their lives together! Of course, Abby said, “YES!” and now the two are planning the most beautiful wedding for this September!
To celebrate their love and their engagement, we took a mini-roadtrip up to that very special cabin in the woods. It belonged to Abby’s grandparents and now Abby and Josh use it and enjoy spending time there every weekend. Even though it was officially the start of Spring, because we were in Northern Wisconsin, you could still find snow-covered areas everywhere. We explored the woods and the same trail where Josh proposed to Abby. Some of the rose petals he laid out could still be found, as if the snow had preserved them all Winter for us to stubble upon in Spring. How amazing is that?! I also loved that their dog, Jack, not only made a guest appearance during the shoot but joined us for the entire session!
