As they stroll through the cherry orchard, hand-in-hand, Shawn looks at his beautiful wife-to-be, MJ. He smiles, thinking about how sweet and caring she is and how happy she makes him. MJ gingerly tucks a piece of her hair behind her ears as she smiles back. She feels the same way. She cannot believe she found a man that loves her unconditionally. It’s another warm summer day and as they continue to stroll, they cannot help but reminisce about Shawn’s proposal last August.

It was a hot, humid night in Wisconsin. Nothing but the sound of crickets could be heard in the distance. Shawn nervously sat in the driver’s seat of his car and urged MJ to look up at the night sky. He wanted to show her the Northern Lights! But between the hot weather, the mosquitos biting at her skin, and the excitement from Shawn’s cousin announcing his engagement earlier that day; she just wanted to return to the comfort of her home. At the stroke of midnight, as a new day began, Shawn wanted to start a new journey with MJ, the beautiful journey of becoming husband and wife! He reached for her hand and asked her to be his wife! All her thoughts faded away as she said, “YES!”

Now, we celebrate their promise to spend the rest of their lives together with a romantic Engagement Session! Golden light beams beautifully as we explore the cherry orchards of Door County and the rocky shores of Cave Point at sunset. Everyone can see just how much MJ and Shawn love one another. It’s so exciting these two found each other and I cannot wait for their wedding at Lambeau Field next year!
