Even before we got married, I knew I wanted a wedding photo album. It’s a product I tell all my clients to add on because it’s something I truly believe in. Don’t get me wrong, I love having the digital copies to share and post. But I wanted our images to be printed and to perfectly tell the story of our day. I wanted to have a beautiful heirloom that hopefully our children and even our grandchildren want to look at someday. 50 years from now when Matt and I are both older, ready to celebrate our golden anniversary together, I want to be able to pull out this book and be transported back to that special day – day one of our marriage.
I hope you print your photos too. Whether they are your wedding photos or the photos you take with your phone, print them out. It doesn’t have to be anything big or crazy (unless you’re like me and want to go big.) Don’t let them live on your computer or your phone forever. Display them on your walls, create a fun book with them, create an adorable calendar with images – the possibilities are endless and there are tons of ideas you can find on Pinterest. But love your photos, they are YOUR memories captured perfectly and frozen in time. Treat them with the respect they deserve.
I’m so in love with our photos by Kristina Adams Photography and this beautiful linen album created by my favorite album company, Kiss Books. It’s simple, elegant, and I know it will stand the test of time.
