I’m SO excited to share Clorissa and Brad’s High Cliff State Park Engagement Session photographed by STP Associate Kyra. Clorissa and Brad first met at the beginning of the Fall semester at University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in 2010. It was the beginning of Clorissa’s sophomore year of college and Brad’s freshmen year of college. They started off as friends hanging out in the same group for many months and then officially started dating in April 2011.
Brad proposed on November 14, 2020 in Stevens Point. Clorissa shares the story, “Brad suggested that we spend a Saturday in Stevens Point, he said it would be fun to go back just to check it out since we had not gone back since 2015. That Saturday we drove all around Stevens Point – through campus, past all the dorms and houses we lived in, and all the places around town reminiscing about all the good times we had when we were in college. Brad then suggested that we go for a walk through Schmeeckle Reserve, a nature reserve that’s connected to campus. We walked around the trails until we came upon a tree house that is located there. We went up into the tree house to take some pictures and that is when Brad grabbed my hands to tell me how much he loved me and then got down on one knee and proposed. I said yes! It felt very special that we were able to come full circle and get engaged in the city where we first met, started dating, and fell in love so many years before.”
Now this sweet couple is planning their wedding for next August. Before the big day, STP Associate Kyra captured their love with a beautiful Engagement Session. Clorissa and Brad brought their adorable french bulldog, Wrigley, with them for their photo shoot and he totally stole the show.
Congratulations Clorissa and Brad! Kyra and I cannot wait for your wedding next year!
