Book Other Vendors
After you’ve booked your venue and your major vendors, you can start focusing your attention on your other vendors. Decide if you are going to have a band or a DJ (think about your plans for ceremony music too.) Choose a florist. Find a hair and make-up artist and set up your beauty trial (important tip – figure out if you are going to a salon on the day of your wedding or having your style team travel to you.) Go for cake tastings and choose your favorite bakery. Start looking into invitation designers. Find your officiant. Figure out any hotel accommodations and transportation.
Register!
Who doesn’t love this part?! Register for gifts at one or two of your favorite retail shops. Do an inventory on the items you already have and make a list before you go in so you have an idea of what to look for. Have fun with it! Make it a little date night or adventure. There is no right or wrong for your registry so enjoy this!
Choose Groom & Groomsmen Attire
Now that the ladies have their looks, it’s time for the men. It’s important to find suits or tuxedos that go well with the coloring of the bridesmaids’ dresses. This helps tie in the overall theme and style of the wedding. It’s also the perfect time for the groom to find something special and classic for him to wear as well!
