Fresh Brewed Friday – My weekly “coffee date” with you all
Happenings: Photographed a wedding on Friday for another photographer and besides the beautiful couple, I was in awe of the sunset that night.
It’s sunsets like this that remind me the world truly is amazing.
Photographed Kait & Dave’s lovely wedding at St. Joseph Church on Saturday! Even though it was technically fall, the sunny weather still made it feel like summer. Such a gorgeous day!
After a busy weekend, I enjoyed a lazy Sunday morning – complete with breakfast in bed. My yummy meal consisted of my favorite coffee and a delicious egg sandwich from Luna Coffeehouse!
Photographed Ana and Zane’s amazing Door County Engagement Session on Sunday evening. I loved everything about this session, especially shooting at Ana’s parents’ house then her grandmother’s house – they both live right on the water with private docks and beaches!
Represented The Rising Tide Society and attended a wonderful charity event, Gambling for Missions, on Thursday night. All proceeds from this fundraiser went to helping Jake’s Diapers, a non-profit organization that works to donate hundreds of cloth diapers around the world to families and orphanages in desperate need that cannot afford them on their own.
New Favorite: My new coffee mug from my sister! It caught my eye at Target because it says “Freshly Brewed” and I thought it fit me PERFECTLY because of this series. Sadly, I did not buy it and I immediately regretted the decision. A week later, my awesome sister totally surprised me and bought it for me as a “just because” gift! Needless to say, I’m in love with it!
Thankful: October is here! I absolutely love this month. Everything about it is so perfect – the changing color of the leaves, drinking hot coffee outside in the crisp Autumn air, pumpkin carving, apple picking, cozy sweaters and Halloween! What a fantastic time of year!
