Yesterday, Green Bay’s Rising Tide Society chapter met for our March #TuesdaysTogether meetup. We gathered at Jenstar Movement Studio in De Pere for conversation and connection. We snacked on delicious sea salt and chocolate cookies from 416 Cuisine as we discussed accounting and finances. Miranda, a financial advisor from Laura Mossakowski, LLC Financial Planning for Women and Their Families, shared her expertise with us as we asked questions and swapped financial tips.
Our meetup felt bittersweet to me because I finally announced, after months of planning and contemplating, that I was officially stepping down as the leader of the group. My decision did not come lightly but it was one I felt I had to make. Nothing crazy has happened or changed in my life, simply put I knew it was my time to step down. I had to listen to my heart. I have given everything I can possibly give to my local group and it’s time for new leaders to carry on the legacy we created here in Green Bay. Our membership chair, Brooke, and our social media chair, Sarah, are taking over as the new leaders and I just know they will do a fabulous job.
I’m so very proud and honored that I could lead for almost three years, since the beginning of RTS. It’s been so wonderful getting to know everyone and meet so many awesome people. Leading this group and helping small business owners and creatives cultivate authentic relationships makes all the years of hard work and planning worth it. I’m so grateful to have had this opportunity and I cannot wait to see what the future brings.
To the Green Bay RTS members, thank you for everything! Our group would be nothing without all of you!
The new Green Bay leaders! These women are amazing and I’m so excited to see what they do this year!
