“YPWeek is a weeklong platform for discovery, adventure, and deliberate conversations about the issues that matter among young professionals throughout the state of Wisconsin. YPWeek brings together key leaders in the community, at purposefully chosen locations that integrate the unique cultural assets with meaningful learning or social interaction.” Green Bay Current hosted a series of fun events last week at local businesses all around the city in honor of YPWeek! I was lucky enough to attend two of them and photograph all the fun everyone was having.
Au Naturale Cosmetics hosted a really intimate and honest event last Thursday afternoon. Owner, Ashley Prange, openly shared to a small group her successes and struggles with starting Au Naturale and being an entrepreneur. She didn’t hold anything back and candidly told us the journey her company has taken over the last couple of years. Afterwards, everyone could mingle and chat and eat delicious food from Great Harvest Bread Co.
Goofiest group shot I’ve done in awhile! Ashley perfectly described this shot as “started from the bottom now we’re here.”
Media Mashup was held at the always wonderful the ARTgarage on Tuesday and showcased a panel of professionals who work in different forms of media in the Green Bay area. They shared common misconceptions about their lines of work and answered questions from the audience. I learned so much that I didn’t even know I had questions about!! Panelists included Rachel Manek, Good Day Wisconsin Host; Jeff Bollier, Business Reporter for the Green Bay Press-Gazette; Max, Morning Host of KRUZ 106.7; and Evan Siegle, Photojournalist for Wisconsin Media. It was so much fun to hear from them!
