Jamie & Terry | Snowy Downtown Engagement Session
Jamie and Terry met in the Fall of 2002 at a high school party. For months, Jamie’s friends kept telling her about Terry and they could not believe they had not met yet. Finally, on the night of the party, Jamie saw Terry pull up in his red Monte Carlo and she shouted, “YOU’RE TERRY?!” With that outburst, they finally met but it was not until a few months later did they exchange phone numbers and start dating.
Throughout the years of dating, they have experienced it all. With every relationship comes those ups and downs, but no matter what life threw their way, they stuck together and deeply care and love one another. Nowadays they love spending time up north, fishing, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. It was at their cabin up north where Terry proposed. Jamie remembers it as if it were yesterday, “We were at the cabin in Lake Tomahawk, just the two of us for the weekend. We fished Saturday morning and afternoon then went out to dinner Saturday night. On Sunday, as we packed up the car to head home, Terry popped the question just as we were about to get into the car! I was so surprised!”
To celebrate their Engagement, we planned a fun-filled shoot right in the heart of Downtown Green Bay. The day was absolutely perfect, not too cold plus a light snow fell the entire time! I loved watching Jamie light up and smile every time Terry held her hand or drew her in close for a kiss. After exploring downtown and picking up some yummy coffee to warm up, we finished our shoot at the beautiful Fonferek Glen where I spent the majority of my time climbing up snow banks to get the perfect shot. It was totally worth it!
I am so happy for Jamie and Terry and I cannot wait for their wedding in October!
Jamie looked SO cute in her white hat. Her friend, Anne, actually knit that hat and lent it to Jamie for our session!
Coffee is always a good idea on those cold, snowy days. We stopped at our favorite Green Bay coffeehouse, Kavarna!
Fonferek Glen looked so amazing covered in a fresh layer of snow! Best part, we had the whole place to ourselves!

These are SO AMAZING! I love the ones in the white hat and they’re looking at each other smiling and the ones Terry is smooching Jame’s cheek. So great! I also love the artsy shots with the ring. Can’t wait to see the wedding pics!!
