Libby and Jared first met back in elementary school when they took drum lessons from the same teacher. But it wasn’t until their freshmen year of high school where they “officially” met when they joined drum line together. Jared thought Libby was great at drums and Libby thought Jared was a cute football player. Soon, the two started dating.
Over the years, their relationship grew. When Libby left for college they would FaceTime for hours every evening. They never really said much, they just liked “being” together. It was during this time that they knew they didn’t want to spend another moment apart.
Jared proposed during the Garden of Lights at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. They visit them every year and he knew he wanted to propose at the big “Caterpillar” light display. After they walked through the trail and took in all the beautiful lights, Jared asked to take a photo by the Caterpillar. Libby agreed and when she wasn’t looking, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
Almost exactly a year after the proposal, Libby and Jared were married! Surrounded by family members and friends, this happy couple promised to spend forever together. It was a frigidly cold December day but it didn’t matter. Everyone was full of great spirits and couldn’t wait to celebrate this union between two wonderful people.
Congratulations Libby and Jared! Enjoy your lives together! I hope it’s full of amazing moments!
