I’m so thrilled to share this gorgeous Engagement Session in Discovery Park Seattle. Naomi and Spencer met on the dating app, Bumble. Within the first few months of dating, they knew they had found something special. Naomi would tell others that Spencer was “different from all the guys she had dated before.” And Spencer knew he was in love when they took a roadtrip down to Portland because they both had so much fun just being together!
Spencer proposed on Vashon Island. Naomi was photographing a backyard wedding and before the wedding they went to the farmers’ market and then brunch. Afterward, they visited the lighthouse and Naomi set up her tripod to grab a few photos of them. Seizing this perfect moment, Spencer got down on one knee and proposed!
For their Engagement Session, we had to tie in that awesome lighthouse connection so we photographed on the beach at Discovery Park. We were so lucky to get a gorgeous day and an even more beautiful sunset! The moon and Mount Rainier even made an appearance! We also explored the golden colored fields and paths the park has. While we were planning our session, Naomi mentioned one of their outfit changes would be traditional German clothes! It was such a fun surprise and I loved that they brought them to our session.
It was a blast photographing these two and I’m so excited for their wedding next Summer!
