Over the last few weeks, I had the wonderful privilege to visit Nashville. I had heard SO many amazing things about the Music City from friends that I just had to see it for myself! I came away with this conclusion: If you like to party and love country music, Broadway St. in Downtown Nashville is for you. If you don’t, don’t spend too much time there. There are plenty of other cute shops and AMAZING coffee houses in other neighborhoods. My favorite area was The Gulch! Cute and trendy and not flooded with country music, I spent just about every morning exploring this space.
As fun as Nashville was, I really enjoy the cities of Franklin and Brentwood more. Right outside the heart of downtown, these quaint little cities are full of history, great food, and amazing shops. I guess it’s where all the celebrities hang out too! Even just exploring The Factory (a one-of-a-kind retail and entertainment complex) I met an ex-Packer player who now owns an INCREDIBLE antique shop. Small world! Famous or not, the people of Tennessee are sweeter than sweet tea (pretty cheesy, I know.) I fell in love with the kindness and helpfulness of everyone who lived there!
For today’s Fresh Brewed Friday, I’m sharing a behind the scenes look from my trip. Stay tuned for next week’s post on my in-depth guide to exploring the best Nashville has to offer!
