I’m SO excited to share Heather and Demetri’s Bell Harbor Conference Center Wedding in the heart of downtown Seattle! When Heather first emailed me, she said she was having a “big, fat, Greek, Christmas wedding in December.” From that description, I knew that this wedding day sounded amazing. Once I officially signed on as their photographer, I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Heather and Demetri’s Engagement Session at Washington Arboretum this spring. Their sweet dog, Ouzo, even made a guest appearance during the photo shoot!

When it came time for their Christmas wedding this December, I was SO ready! Through all the planning and timeline meetings, I knew the day was going to be full of so many wonderful details. Heather and her bridesmaids got ready at Thompson Hotel in downtown Seattle while Demetri and his groomsmen got ready back at their home. Once ready, they shared the sweetest first look across the street from the hotel. After their first look, we walked over to Pike Place Market for bride and groom portraits. It was actually a clear day in Seattle, with the sun shining the whole time!

Following portraits, we headed to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church for their ceremony. Faith and family are both so important to Heather and Demetri and it was an honor to document such a beautiful ceremony. Once they officially “tied the knot,” we made our way to Bell Harbor Conference Center for a night of delicious food, yummy drinks, and LOTS of dancing. Just like at their Engagement Session, their dog Ouzo joined the fun. At the reception, he greeted every guest when they arrived.

Bell Harbor Conference Center was transformed into a gorgeous Christmas wonderland! Candle light and Christmas trees filled the space. Every part of that room was stunning and served as the perfect backdrop for the night’s festivities. One of the best parts of the reception was all the amazing traditional Greek dances. The energy and the passion on the dance floor lasted all night long!
