What does Where the Wild Things Are, a beach, an old car, and a married couple expecting their first child all have to do with one another? They are all part of Britney and Tom’s Beach Side Lake Michigan Maternity Session!

Going on their third year of marriage, Britney and Tom couldn’t be happier to be expecting their first child. They have been together through everything, starting with being high school sweethearts to now working as nurses at Aurora Baycare Medical Center. They are so sweet and kind to each other, I know they will be excellent parents. Plus any parents that are going to have a Where the Wild Things Are themed nursery, are pretty awesome people in my book. (:

We shot on a beach off Lake Michigan during a Saturday evening sunset. Though it was chilly outside, these two did wonderful and the photos look amazing! We had so much fun playing in the sand and discovering this awesome shop called Mermaid Tales that sells antiques. We were more interested with all the cool things hanging on the outside of the shop and the old car they had parked right in front.

Congratulations to Britney & Tom! I cannot wait to meet your little man.
