I have lived in Wisconsin most of my life and despite all my traveling, I have never visited a desert. Not even once! It has always been a dream of mine to spend time and photograph in a desert! I didn’t care which desert it was, I just wanted to experience it. I wanted something new, something different than what Wisconsin could offer me. I finally had my chance while I was out West to fulfill my dream and shoot a styled session in Nevada! Oh my goodness, was it magical! Rose gold colored dresses, cacti, a delicious cake, and even a few llamas added to the session to make it even more unbelievable!

It happened while I was in Las Vegas for WPPI. I had the wonderful pleasure of joining the talented photography team, Twig & Olive Photography, for an amazing styled bridal session! Myself and eight other photographers gathered in a secluded area of the desert right outside of Vegas to hang out, shoot, pet some llamas, and eat cake! Despite the chilly winds, I could not stop smiling during our entire session, I was having too much fun!
