Fresh Brewed Friday – My weekly “coffee date” with you all
Happenings: Photographed Jenna and Jared’s intimate wedding at Thornberry Creek at Oneida on Friday. The weather was absolutely perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better day!
Explored Cave Point on Saturday! It was nice to actually have a Saturday off before wedding season starts. I loved walking as close to the water as I could get and listening to the waves crash upon the rocks.
Attended Celebrate De Pere! Well, close to it. Enough to dance to the music and watch the firework display!
Celebrated my half birthday! As many of you know, I take birthdays very seriously and half birthdays are no exception. I spent as much time as I could outside, walking on the Fox River Trail and enjoying ice cream.
The Green Bay Farmers’ Market is back! Summer is right around the corner and that means every Wednesday will be spent on Broadway, enjoying all the sights and the sounds of the market. I made my way to the first one of the season this Wednesday for some veggies, peanut butter cookies, succulents, and sorbet!
New Favorite: My beautiful new intern, Anjali! I’m so excited to have her on board for this 2017 season and I can’t wait to introduce her to you all on the blog soon!
Thankful: Memorial Weekend. Yes, it’s fun to be outside and celebrate but it’s not what this weekend is about. I heard this beautiful quote that really touched my heart and I think it explains Memorial Day better than I ever could. “Memorial Day isn’t just about honoring veterans, its honoring those who lost their lives. Veterans had the fortune of coming home. For us, that’s a reminder of when we come home we still have a responsibility to serve. It’s a continuation of service that honors our country and those who fell defending it.” Thank you to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
