It’s no secret, winters in Wisconsin can be incredibly harsh. The ground is completely covered in snow and the average temperature is below freezing. Even with these conditions, Wisconsin still looks absolutely gorgeous. It became my goal this year to show how beautiful my home state can be in all seasons and the only thing left was to find people willing to spend time outdoors in this frozen tundra.
Mandie and Jeff were completely up for the challenge. Their adventurous spirit and love for one another made the perfect combination for an awesome shoot! We took the hour drive from Green Bay to Cave Point County Park for a little hike and photo session around the cliffs. I knew it would be a pretty location but I was blown away by how AMAZING Cave Point looks in the winter. The cliffs, trees, branches – all covered in a thick layer of ice! The water remained untouched though and the waves would crash on the icy cliffs. It was truly a breathtaking sight.
Thanks to Mandie & Jeff for braving the cold and exploring Door County’s beauty with me!
