Even though Carson lived in Canada and Megan lived in Wisconsin, these two were destined to find each other. They met at a church convention one summer and immediately fell for each other. Carson proposed in winter when they were visiting her family. They had just finished dancing on the ice of her grandparents’ pond when he pointed to the snow where he had written the message, “Will you marry me?” While she was looking, he got down on one year and presented her the ring! She was beyond shocked and so thrilled and said, “yes,” of course.
After dating for four years, these two were married this past June at the gorgeous Givens Farm. Megan is unbelievably crafty and came up with the ideas all by herself. With the help of her wonderful friends and family she was able to pull off everything she wanted. The details were absolutely perfect. Girls wore mismatched cornflower blue dresses and the men wore floral or paisley blue and white shirts with denim ties. The wedding took place right on a bridge and the reception was held outside next to the bridge. String lights and chandeliers hung from the trees to give the wedding a magical feel. Peonies picked right from a greenhouse were set in moonshine jugs to compliment the succulents and old books that served as centerpieces. The peonies could also be found in all the girls’ bouquets. They put together a self-serve coffee station and Italian soda bar (Megan’s favorite.) The cake was made with love by Megan’s grandmother. The favors were adorable little cups that Megan handmade herself!
This wedding was so special. From the little details to the sweetness of both families to the love Megan and Carson share, everything was absolutely perfect! Congrats to these wonderful newlyweds!
Aww, so much love between Megan and her mother!
All Megan and Carson’s grandparents were able to be a part of their wedding! This is the first time I’ve ever seen that and I’m so thrilled to witness all the love they share for each other and their grandchildren!

What an incredible job, Shaunae! I was mesmerized by the photos. The bride is a natural beauty. Her simplicity of style only made that stand out. The groom, handsome and elegant even though casual. One can truly see the gift of family and relationship in the photos. Also, incredible photos of nature. Amazing job.
