Sarah & Andre | Cave Point Engagement Session

Sarah and Andre met back in high school and have been dating ever since. They have so many fond memories together but one of Andre’s favorite is from when they first started dating. He says, “My favorite memory is the first time I drove her home. After one of my football games we had a fire at a friend’s place and I offered to drive her home. We had hardly talked before and it gave us a reason to talk in person. Thankfully the car was a stick shift so I could tease her about trying to let me teach her stick shift (she never did let me!)”

After many years of dating, Andre proposed on Sarah’s family’s pier in Door County. They love spending time in Door County – most summers they are up there every weekend. During the proposal, overwhelmed with emotion, Andre forgot what to say and just had this huge smile on his face! He finally managed to ask the question and Sarah was beyond surprised and excited! Everything felt like one big blur of joy and love.

Because these two love Door County so much, we just had to photograph their Engagement Session there! We explored beautiful Cave Point and White Fish Dunes just as the sun began to set. Even though it rained during their entire session, every moment still felt sweet, effortless, and so full of love!
