Amanda and Aaron first met at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College when Amanda had lost her keys. She found two security guards to help her find them and one of them was Aaron. When Aaron saw her, he thought she was absolutely gorgeous! The funny thing is Amanda does not even remember Aaron helping her that day! She remembers the first time they met was in the Summer of 2011 when he asked her out. But after the first couple of dates, she knew she would never forget him or how wonderful he made her feel ever again.

After dating for a couple years and living in Green Bay, the two moved across the state with their two adorable cats to follow their dreams of becoming Sheriff Deputies. Now, they both work at the same office and they love that they get to work together every day. When they are not at work, they love playing tennis, watching football and going for bike rides.

Aaron’s proposal was so sweet and sincere. Amanda came home from work one day feeling incredibly sick. She went right to bed and Aaron went in to check on her. Because they always love joking around with each other, Amanda made a statement that Aaron never takes care of her when she’s sick. Aaron replied to her statement with, “I know what will make you feel better,” and pulled out a ring to propose!! Amanda was in complete shock, started crying and said yes!!

This happy couple loves nature so we photographed their Engagement Session at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve during the beautiful month of October. The leaves were in peak season and we actually experienced a heat wave on that Autumn day with temperatures hitting the mid-70s! It was an absolutely perfect day for photographing two people so in love!
