“The world’s just spinning, a little too fast. If things don’t slow down soon, we might not last. So just for the moment, let’s be still.” This song by The Head and The Heart has such a beautiful meaning and it means so much to Gina and Brian. This is one of their favorite bands, they actually went to one of their shows right after Brian proposed. The song, “Let’s Be Still,” was also their first dance song and those words are engraved in Brian’s wedding ring. It’s a sweet reminder that no matter how fast the world is going, just being with the person you love is all you need.
A couple weeks ago, Gina and Brian were married underneath the most gorgeous trees at The Swan Barn Door, surrounded by their family and friends. This couple is so easy-going and laid back, their wedding felt like one big party. They both love to share stories and they make you feel like you’re their best friend, even if you just met! They are beyond perfect for each other and I loved being able to document their special day.
My favorite part of the day was during the ceremony, learning about the most thoughtful gift Brian once gave Gina. When they first started dating, every concert they went to, he would buy a patch. After years of concerts and falling in love, he had his sister sew on all the patches to a denim jacket for of Gina. He totally surprised her when he gave her the jacket as a gift! What I love about this story is that from the very beginning, Brian knew Gina was the one.
Congratulations Gina & Brian! Here’s to a lifetime full of love and joy and lots of concerts!
Thanks to all the amazing wedding vendors that helped make Gina & Brian’s big day wonderful!
