It’s always such a pleasure photographing Cassandra, so when she came to me asking if we could make some photos for an upcoming magazine spread, I was thrilled! She had just given birth to her second son one month prior to our shoot and it was so empowering to see her loving and embracing her body postpartum. We met at Chateau De Pere to make some gorgeous images and she shared with me this beautiful article she wrote for the magazine:

“…If a woman adorns herself in delicate fabrics, soft to the touch, that lovingly drape over the many bends and curves of her illuminated body, she should feel nothing but empowered. Fears, insecurities, and woe should fall before her as she gazes into the reflection of her beauty. Posture perfectly erect, denoting an extraordinary confidence as her very essence transforms her – almost as if when she walks, wings carry her…

…A pinup is no longer just a sex symbol, a pinup is a role model. She is a woman who fights everyday to make this world a more beautiful place by emanating beauty and love for all to bask in rather than just those lucky enough to see her behind closed doors…”
