Amanda and Adam have known each other for a while but didn’t start dating until a few years after they met. Both were at different places in their life when they met but fate brought them together. As soon as they started dating they both thought, “This is so fun, this is so easy, THIS is what dating your spouse is supposed to be like!”
Adam proposed after they had spent the most perfect day together. The day started with breakfast and a bike ride around the South Hill and Manito park, ending at their favorite ice cream shop, The Scoop. After, they went window shopping downtown to peruse local shops and headed home to change for dinner. They arrived at Clinkerdagger, their first date location and the restaurant where Amanda first met Adam’s parents. The setting could not have been more perfect! They sat by a window overlooking the falls and Adam popped the question! Their friends filmed and photographed the entire moment! Amanda, ecstatic and crying all over herself, said “yes!” and her twin sister, Elaina, came out with a bottle of champagne to surprise her. She flew all the way from Nashville to be with her sister in this moment. It truly was magical!
I have known Adam for almost a decade now. He’s so full of life and determination and everyone is drawn to him. I knew whoever he would marry would have to be absolutely amazing and Amanda totally is! After they got engaged, I secretly hoped that I could photograph their wedding. When they reached out to me and asked if I would fly to Washington to be with them on their big day, I jumped at the chance. Documenting their beautiful wedding right in the backyard of Adam’s parent’s home was such an honor!
Congratulations Amanda and Adam! I’m so very happy you two found each other!
