I adore weddings that feel intimate and personal. It’s why I love elopements. The smaller the wedding, the more the focus can be on the bride and groom and their special bond. That’s why I loved being a part of Maria and Mohammed’s wedding day. With a little over 50 guests in attendance, this wedding was so full of genuine love for this couple.
Friends and family members traveled from all over the world to Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Maria and Mohammed were married in the backyard of Maria’s childhood home. I love this because that meant she got ready in the home she grew up in. How special is that?! Maria comes from a big Greek family and all her family members were happy to help with whatever anyone needed. I think every aunt and uncle came up to me to make sure I was doing okay. They really are the sweetest people.
For the reception, guests took the party over to Hidden Glen Golf Club to enjoy a night with delicious food and lots of dancing. You would think a smaller sized wedding wouldn’t have a ton of dancing, but not this wedding. Every single guest was out on the dance floor for most of the night. It just shows how fun and loving this family is. The best part of the day was seeing how happy Maria and Mohammed were together. They have really built a beautiful relationship and I know they will build an even more beautiful marriage.
Congratulations Maria & Mohammed! I’m so excited to see what’s next for you both!
Thanks to all the amazing wedding vendors that helped make Maria & Mohammed’s big day wonderful!
