August 17, 2020
Paige and Tim met back when they were in 5th grade in 2005! How cute is that?! They started dating in 2010 and everything just felt so natural between them. Paige says, “Even before we started dating we talked some and I constantly had butterflies… still do. He made/makes me excited about life. From the bottom of my heart, I feel like he has been ‘the one’ from the very moment I met him.”
They got engaged in December of 2018 and started planning for a big wedding with their date set for March 21, 2020. Then the pandemic hit. Literally, the week of their wedding, Illinois issued the Stay at Home order and their original date was cancelled. They didn’t let that stop them. On that day, they actually got married! YES! Once they were married, they went to work trying to reschedule their wedding day.
Finally, after lots of planning and restructuring, they chose August 6th. They had to choose a new venue, their family’s land that sits right on the border of Wisconsin and Illinois. Their ceremony overlooked the family’s small lake then guests could enjoy dinner (which was brick oven pizzas and pasta they made right on site!) under a gorgeous white tent followed by dancing under the stars. It may not have been what they originally planned but it was still perfect!
Before their first look, Paige went up behind Tim and wrapped her arms around him.
Paige and Tim had the biggest bridal party I have ever photographed! 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen!
Thanks to all the amazing wedding vendors that helped make Paige & Tim’s big day wonderful!
