Yesterday, the Green Bay Chapter for The Rising Tide Society came together in the spirit of Community Over Competition for our November Philanthropy Meetup. Unlike most meetups where we discuss ways to help our businesses, this month we reached out and found ways we could help our community. We partnered with The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Green Bay to see exactly what we could do to help the wonderful children of our city. We hosted a donation drive and collected items like winter jackets, gloves, hats, socks, other clothes, and underwear (for the children who have an issue with accidents) over the last month and yesterday we presented the Club with all our items! After dropping everything off, we toured the Club, learned more about it’s programs, found ways we can continue to help, and celebrated at the end of the meetup with a taco party catered by Texas Fold ‘Em Taco Co. We also took the time to write notes to the staff thanking them for all their dedication and encouraging messages to the kids so they know we are routing for them!
This is why I love my community and The Rising Tide Society. Instead of looking for ways to get ahead or better themselves, they are focused on making a difference in other people’s lives. They don’t shy away from hard work, they are right there to lend a helping hand. And even though yesterday was election day, both sides came together for the greater good. I am inspired by these amazing individuals and I know they are making our city a better place, each and every day!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who donated and attended our meetup! We are so grateful for you all!

I love this girl and all the beautiful things she does to make the world a better place!
