Fresh Brewed Friday – My weekly “coffee date” with you allHappenings: Photographed
Lisa & Rick, along with their super cute pup, at Strong Falls last Saturday. Even though my GPS took me to the wrong park then a bridge was out so I had to find a detour, our session was definitely worth driving all around Northern Wisconsin.
There was a tiny heat wave last weekend and I could actually go outside and let me feet touch the grass in our backyard! No snow anymore, just grass! It felt glorious and my toes are still so happy!
Photographed Jordan and Shawn’s Engagement Session at the National Railroad Museum on Sunday! We spent the afternoon sipping mimosas as the wonderful Alissa Kristine did Jordan’s hair & make-up. Then off to the Railroad Museum to explore the different train cars and make beautiful photographs.
Spent another half a day at Luna Coffeehouse. It’s like my home away from home (more like office away from office.) Even though the noises of a coffeehouse may be distracting to some, it’s incredibly soothing to me. The sounds of people chatting and espresso makers brewing helps me focus on whatever I’m trying to work out that day. I’m not like this with all noises (most of the time I work in silence or with a little music) but there is something magical about a coffeehouse.
New Favorite: My “Beach Walk” scented candle from Yankee Candle Village! We bought it when we were on the East Coast and now every time I light it, I feel like the ocean is right outside my window.
Lemon in my green tea! I used to always just drink tea by itself or with a little honey. I read on some blog that drinking green tea with a lemon was suppose to help improve your health and I thought I’d give it a try. I haven’t really noticed any chances except that I love lemon in my tea now! How did I go so long without it?!
Thankful: This busy week! There have been so many wonderful things to work on and I love it! It’s filling my brain with art and creativity. I’m excited to share it all when it’s ready.
