Can I share a little secret with you all? Christmas is my favorite holiday but gift giving is my FAVORITE part of this glorious season! I love giving gifts and surprising people with goodies all year round. Ready for another secret? I actually carry around a little notebook and when I hear someone mention something they like or want, I jot it down.

My wonderful clients are no exception. They are the reason I do what I do and they deserve the best! Every year I like to surprise them with a sweet gift to celebrate this season and their first Christmas together as a married couple. The gifts are always different. One year I gave out custom ornaments, another year I sent coffee mugs, hot cocoa, and macarons. Last year, I gifted each couple with The Newlywed Cookbook so they could create a little magic in the kitchen together.

This year was all about getting cozy. There is nothing I love more than snuggling on the couch to binge watch a new show on Netflix. I know my couples are always on the go and working hard, so I knew they would benefit from a little couch time too. I wanted each couple to have the necessary essentials for a cozy “date night in” together.

Each couple received a queen-sized yarn dyed ringspun cotton blanket in either gray or mint green (my favorite colors.) This blanket is perfect because it’s lightweight and still big enough that two people can snuggle under. They also received a soy candle (I’m seriously obsessed with candles) with the most delicious smell to make sure they night feels extra warm.

I mailed out over 23 boxes filled with these presents for each couple. I’m so thankful for the post office for dealing with all those big deliveries. I had a blast surprising everyone and it was so sweet to receive messages like these:
