Yesterday, the Green Bay Chapter of The Rising Tide Society met for the first time EVER!! We gathered at Hello Lemon Studio in De Pere for drinks, snacks, and great conversation. It was an amazing turn out with 26 people attending. We had bloggers, boutique owners, a calligrapher, graphic designers, a jewelry designer, a makeup artist, and lots of photographers! Each creative received a Welcome Packet when they arrived. Inside each packet was a Tools of the Trade guide, a little journal for everyone to jot down notes, a “Community Over Competition” postcard with our mission on the backside, information about our meetups each month, and questionnaires to fill out so we could all learn more about each member.
Our meetup was full of big smiles and lots of fun introductions. I heard so many people say, “I’ve been following you on Facebook/Instagram for years! It’s great to finally meet you in person!” We sat together and discussed different apps and programs that have made our lives and businesses easier. Each person added their own insight into what tools have helped them. It was great to see everyone being so open and willing to share!
Hosting and leading these meetups bring me such joy! It’s more than just laying out cute snacks and drinks and making Welcome Packets. It’s about bringing people together. It warms my heart to watch people start to connect and form new friendships. A huge grin never left my face the entire afternoon. These wonderful creatives already mean so much to me. Their kindness and support is overwhelmingly beautiful. I cannot wait to see where our awesome group will go in the future and all the wonderful things we will achieve together! Because together, we make waves!
Thank you SO much to all the AMAZING creatives who gathered for the first #TuesdaysTogether!! I love you all already!!
Thank you to Ebb & Flow Flowers for providing all the cute flowers for the Welcome Folders!!
